We are all made of stardust. This is not some romantic, poetic, description of human beings, though it does sound like it. This is a fact.
Unless you’re one of the few who’s still not so convinced about the whole Big Bang thing, scientists pretty much agree that that’s how we started. So, basically, you and I and all of the things and people we know in this world are made up of star dust from this big magical explosion.
If that’s true, there’s no denying we are all connected to everything in this universe of ours. We are connected to one another, to the tides in the ocean, to the phases of the moon, by something greater than any of us understands.
Call it God, call it fate, call it whatever you may, but there is an undeniable energy that courses through the world, through the planets, the moon, our souls, and the sun.
Today the Great American Eclipse is taking place, and if we are all made up of star dust, and the sun is our closest star, how can we expect not to be effected by this grand celestial event?
It is said that a solar eclipse brings good change into our lives. The energy of the eclipse is palpable, and what better time for it to come than in late August? Many 20somethings are headed back to school or work at this time. Others are settling into new jobs after graduation, or starting graduate schools. Some are ending summer flings or beginning long relationships. Whatever it may be, I think this is a time of a lot of changes for many of us. And, is it a coincidence that the solar eclipse also welcomes in the new moon?
Life is all about seizing the day: carpe diem, as they say.
Think of today as the beginning of your own new moon. Embrace the powerful positive energy surrounding the Earth today. Use it to cleanse and recharge you for whatever new dream you’re pursuing. If you have a project, goal, desire you have been putting off, waiting for “the right time” to start working on it, now is that time.
So do it. Start. Now. Today.
Welcome the positive changes coming soon into your life with open arms, an open mind, and an open heart.
Sending you all my love today and always, my little chickadees.
